Step 1 — Set Up Your Obsidian Vault
Download Obsidian from obsidian.md — it's free
Create four folders: /projects, /decisions, /context, /resources
Start with one project note — what you're building, the stack, key decisions
Don't overthink the structure. Start simple, let it grow.
Step 2 — Connect to Claude Code via MCP
Run: claude mcp add obsidian-mcp -s user -- npx -y obsidian-mcp /path/to/vault
Restart Claude Code — your vault is now searchable from the terminal
